We already mentioned to you that during the NITRADOG Pribina Cup, an unofficial SENIOR HANDLING competition will take place in the Activity Ring. We also mentioned that this is a competition for fun and if you participate in it, you will support the activities of the Junior handling club Slovakia (for example, Toy Handling).

But we didn’t bring you the names of the people who will pick the top three. We are very happy that two active exhibitors agreed, among other things, also the judges for Junior handling. On Saturday it will be Ákos Ritó from Hungary and on Sunday Viktória Lozić from Serbia.

We are very happy that you support our idea of Activity ring with your participation and interest. Perhaps an integral part is the Performance of Police Cynology, thanks to which we will once again get a closer look at what the work of a police dog looks like. And since you wouldn’t be able to fit in the Activity Ring area even in December, these performance will take place in the final ring on Saturday from 1:30-2:30 p.m.

We hereby invite you and thank the Service Cynology of the Police Force and K9 KIWI-Slovakia for the excellent and repeated cooperation! We appreciate her very much!

It’s probably not a big secret that from February 2023 we´ve started organizing NITRADOG shows in a “new outfit“. Among the novelties is the Activity ring, which is used for performances and activities from various activities in the cynological and non-cynological world.

Since we want to ensure that the level of exhibitions also rises in the presentation of dogs in show rings, this year at the Pribina Cup we are starting with another novelty, which we have called “Handling School“.

So if

• you are a complete beginner
• or already have some experience but want to improve
• if you are troubled by a specific problem with a specific dog
• something is unclear about the technique
• or you have questions to which you do not know the answer

on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00- 1:00 p.m., Viktória Lozić, a judge for the exterior, a long-time exhibitor and trainer of show dogs, will take care of you in our Activity ring.

The winners of our final competitions (BIG, JBIG, BIS, JBIS) can look forward to beautiful trophies. We always reward the first three…and the prizes are really beautiful . So what, you’ve already cleared a place on the shelf for this NITRADOG cup ?

What did you want to be when you were a child? A dog, a cat, or a fiery bird that flies around the world? What about your children? In our KIDZONE every child can turn into an animal, flower or superhero for a while. There is no limit to fantasies! Your child’s imagination and the skillful artistic hand of our staff can do the impossible. But especially – the most important thing – to make a SMILE You can find the KIDZONE corner in Hall M5, every day during the NITRADOG Pribina Cup. Face painting will take place from 11.00-12:30.

Although we have already informed you about the name and biography of the judge who will award the highest title among Junior handlers during the Nitradog Pribina Cup, called “Nitradog Supreme Junior handler“, we would like to remind you who will be able to fight for it.

Every one of the registered junior handlers has the same chance. The winners of both categories from all three show days, i.e. a maximum of six juniors, will be seen during the final competitions on Sunday.

We look forward to everyone who registered for the Slavic evening, where we will meet together on 17/02/2024 from 18:00 – after the end of the final competitions and have fun with a rich Slovak dinner, good wine and soft drinks, great music, a cultural program and a raffle.

A raffle is an integral part of many social events. The atmosphere during the raffle is always unique ! However, our raffle will have a different mission. We will use entire process to support our “youth” associated with the Junior Handling Club Slovakia. Any of you can contribute prizes and bring out a sincere smile and joy. It will be possible to hand over prizes in the show office during the entire Friday and Saturday.

Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten the little ones either! We are preparing a TOY HANDLING competition again!

In Slovakian shows, for security reasons, the “Child and Dog” competition has not been held at international or national shows for several years.

However, we want to support the passion for shows (and therefore pedigree dogs) even among our youngest, whose age doesn´t yet allow them to compete in Junior handling competitions. In Scandinavia, we were inspired by a nice competition, which we decided to introduce at our shows and it become already a tradition ! So, children up to 9 years old will be able to experience a competitive atmosphere again, to show that they also know what an “up&down” figure is, or a round, but without fearing that the dog will run away from the ring, or that any little handler will be pulled by his/her dog. They will be showing their toys – plush, on wheels, or various others.

TOY HADLING will be open on Saturday and Sunday. Every day at the same time, starting at 11:30 till 12:00, because in the afternoon the smaller children go to rest. The presence of the parent is necessary due to the signing of the GDPR.

Don’t forget to plan your visit to Hall M5 to ACTIVITY RING. Your applouse will fullfill with happiness the souls of the little participants!

It´s true, we open SENIOR HANDLING competition at our Nitradog Pribina Cup as well! Who once fell in love with Junior handling wants always come back to it.

If you belong to ex junior handlers or you want to have fun in the show ring, Junior handling klub Slovensko has prepared this special activity for you.

We often say that the junior handlers are more skilled then the adults in the show rings. At our shows it is time to show, that also the adults have talent and can show their dog on a high level.

SENIOR HANDLING 18+ is opened during Saturday 17.02. and Sunday 18.02.2024 for everyone over 18 years.
It will be held in the Activity ring, hall M5.

Entry fee is 10€ and the income will be used for financing Junior handling klub Slovensko activity – TOY HANDLING, what is free of charge for the youngest. Show us what you got but mostly let’s have some fun.
